After the spacers....

Todays the 17 two days after my spacers I hate them because I have sore teeth so I cant really eat. I hope the palate expander is not like this! GIVE ME YOUR HONEST opinion do you think I am not paying the retainer enough attention?  sincerely Owen


Owen's mom here: Owen is getting a bottom retainer when the palate expander goes is to help correct his cross bite. It kind of looks like a mounthguard and he will be able to take it out when he brushes his teeth. He mentioned the other day that he has been so focused on the expander that he hasn't thought much about the retainer and has been wondering if that will bother him more. We've all assured him it won't hurt, it will just feel weird. Maybe we will take some pictures once they are in and post them.

    Owen I feel your pain buddy! I too have had way too much metal in my mouth (braces/retainer), but you will totally thank your parents for this in the long run! I cant wait to see that new perfect smile at Christine's wedding!
